UB'er at Lake Manawa 4/9/08

I saw a grey Dodge at Manawa this afternoon with a UB sticker on the back. Just wondering who is lucky enough to fish in the middle of the week

That be me!!!!  water temp was 51 and the bass weren't biting too well.

The crappie fishermen seemed to be doing well though

I knew somebody would 'fess up 

I caught some nice wipers over there a couple weeks ago, but have yet to catch a bass there. I'm kinda surprised the water temp was that high. I would have figured mid - 40's. Better luck to you next time!

I like catching them wipers too!!  Hopefully the bite will be better this week when it starts warming up a bit. I get weds. off and with the price of gas I plan on fishing Manawa alot this year!!

I'm sure the gas prices are gonna keep a lot of people close to home this year

you aren't kidding, i'm in the gym 7 days a week working my legs so I can pull my boat with my schwinn   

Good luck with Manawa, maybe that lake and I just haven't "clicked" yet but i'd rather go bass fishing in my bath tub then that lake.  Eyes, wipers and crappies seem strong though, didn't take long for this florida boy to figure out how to catch em. I want my lily-pads, alligators and water snakes back!

Wait til the end of may, begining of june Joe, Manawa will definitely have it's share of lilly pads!!!!
