I rarely get to do this, so I figured I would brag a little.  Me and my brother-n-law won the Anacoco Lion's Camp tournament on Toledo Bend saturday :surrender: :surrender:.  We had a limit in 15 minutes that morning that weighed about 13lbs.  We ended up getting 1 or 2 bites an hour after that, but they were good ones.  In the end we had 22.5lbs with our smallest bass being around 4lbs. and our biggest around 6lbs.  It was quite a day.  We caught a 4 1/2 and the 6lber in the last hour.  We caught them all in 20-25' throwing Stanley Football Jigs.  Sorry for going on so much, but you tournament guys know that you don't have many days like that.  It was one of those days you will remember forever.  Thanks Eric for putting on such a great tournament and hopefully next year the weather will be better and more folks will join us.  Guys don't be too rough on me for all of this bragging.  I only caught 8lbs the next day in a tournament.

Congratulations!   ~c~

Man how did you all find fish in 20/25 foot of water and get them to nail a jig?

Nice sack, glad ya'll had that good of a day in an actual tournament...I usually have those kind of days prefishing and then washing out on tournament day.  Congrats for figuring them out, Saturday was tough for us and the Homebuilders tournament.

I actually found the spots a few years ago.  It's just ditches leading to spawing grounds and there is some structure there.  Couldn't have found these spots without my Lowerance and Navionics set up.  I caught all 2 pounders a few weeks ago in a club tournament throwing a drop shot and managed 3rd that day with 11lbs.  Since this was a take all kinda tournament we decided to stick with the football jig for a while and we were fortunate to get a quick limit, so we never threw anything else.  We hit 3 spots in the day and caught fish in every spot.  The next day it was too  windy to stay on the spots and that's why I didn't do good in the next tournament.  These were all pre-spawn fish, so they were nice and fat.

Hey great work putting the electronics to work for you and coming up with a plan and then having enough faith in it to stick to your guns for the win.

Outstanding!   ~c~

Good job fellas! That is one thing I need to learn, how best to utilize the tools I have avaiable!

I was on the south end SKEET.  I did hear that they are catching them real good on the North end up shallow.  I heard about a 10lber. caught in 3' of water and there have already been to 13lbers. caught up there.
