I have a copy of the clubs "Release and Indemnification" form posted on the web site.  If I understand correctly Tom and Larry will not be taking membership dues "at the ramp" this year.  As I see it, this means the following:
If you show up, expecting to pay your 2008 membership dues, Saturday morning at Lake of the Ozarks your dues will not be accepted.  However, I'm sure Tom will be accepting dues Friday night at his cabin.
If you don't fish Lake of the Ozarks and show up Saturday morning at Kinkaid, expecting to pay your 2008 membership dues, your dues will not be accepted.
In other words, you must take care of this in advance.
For this reason you can now print out, sign, and mail in the Release and Indemnification form along with your check.
I hope I got that right.

Dave is correct.

Collecting membership dues at the ramp is along with entry fees and ramp fees has been an obstacle to progress.

Tom has asked the board for our input on elimiating this in the future.

As a result, all returning club members who have not paid their dues by the final winter meeting on March 9 will likely get a letter with an addressed, stamped envelope to take care of this in advance of the start of the season.

Members who have not yet signed a release form will be asked to print a copy from the website, read, sign and have a witness sign the document so that we can get the paperwork out of the way before the season opener.

Potential new members will be asked to do the same thing as we go through the process of accepting their membership.

Dave has done a great job in updating the website as we prepare for 2008.

Please take the time to check out the updates, print schedules, forms and results.

Not every returning member received an addressed prestamped envelope to take care of this. Can you post the address?
