As has been documented on other threads Nitro trailers bite and the service you receive from Bass Pro Shops and Nitro is horrible.  I bought a 640 in 2003.  Two years later I had to change out the running boards.  The lights have been rewired five times.  Both fenders are coming off.  Two of the three support beams have rusted through and broke.  I ordered a new trailer 4 1/2 weeks ago and was told my new trailer would be on the first load into Bossier City.  I got a call today saying it may be 3 to 4 more weeks as they had got the load in and my trailer hasn't even been made yet and they are at the mercy of the trailer factory.  I had tried locally just to get this piece of crap fixed but nobody wanted to touch it since the metal is so degraded.  I am not able to use my boat which runs fine.  I am missing the spawn and it changes tournament strategies up for me and my fishing partner.  Oh yeah, when I bought my boat locally at a brand new dealership the owner swore up and down he would be in business for years.  Within 8 weeks he stopped selling Nitro boats.  I had bought an extended warranty which was then pretty much useless since local boat dealers won't service a boat bought elsewhere.  I contacted Mercury and they said they could not force the dealers to do anything.  I finally got one local guy to work on my boat when I bought a bigger motor from him.   And now when BASS PRO SHOPS has finally got a chance to deliver on the promise of excellent service they try to portray,  they have let me down.  The boat has basically delivered all I expected but Trailstar Trailers, Nitro, and Bass Pro Shops have not.  Dang I'm frustrated by this crap. ~b~ ~xyz ~rant ^-^

I cancelled my trailer order from Bass Pros this morning.  I can't be any more disatisfied with how I was treated than by these people.  Basically when you order from them you have to put down a deposit and their "expected date of delivery" means absolutely nothing.  It "may or may not" have been on the next load, as of now the trailer that I ordered that should already be under my boat is not even made yet.  I was in a state of limbo and at the mercy of the Bass Pros Bossier City and trailer facility of which the only address they would give me was in the Ozarks.  Probably some Deliverance leftovers up there making boat trailers.  I am sure glad that I live 3 hours away from Bossier as I would be tempted to deal with this store on a regular basis and know I would be screwed blue at their luxury every possible waking moment.   ~xyz

Man I am sorry to hear that. There is a custom shop in Eunice that may be able to help you. I will get some info on them ASAP and get back with you. There's no reason a custom shop can't build you one. We gonna get you hooked up one way or another.

I understand your frustrations, but what was the pot shot at the Ozarks all about?  I live 45 minutes from the trailer factory and by no means am a "Deliverance leftover"? Remember when posting that anybody can access and read.
