but still froze here. 19* this morning and headed to lower 40's
wind is calm right now but the storm front is coming this direction. they say snow tonight by 10.

Steve that is cool. They are very aggressive fish. To bad you couldn't find a piece of stainless steel to you as a spoon. Buff it up real shiny and add the hook rings. BIG spoons are good jiggin baits.

I guess they don't let a guy have afishing pole because no work would get done

The Philipino workers are catching them with hand lines and live/dead bait, but the company is going to be stopping it soon as we will have divers in the water

Hopefully I can get some photos before they stop it.

Morning ya'll!

It's my Friday!!...I'm a partimer and off every Friday starting tomorrow! I have to get the house ready for out of town family tomorrow, but starting next week, every Friday will be my fishing day. This way I don't miss the kid's Saturday ball games.

I'm really excited about this new schedule and hope everything works out as planned!

Real tired though, been runnin with the wife between Lonvgiew Texas and Waco, She is tryin to straighten out a Terminal and the company wants me to tag along.

I guess not gettin a job right away down here is actually payin' off. Now they are talkin about us relocatin to Cedar Hill, near Dallas. I know we will both be a little more relaxed after the dust settles a little.

Whats drivin me nuts is that I am within a stones throw from some of the best lakes around and don't have the time to wet a line.

OH man, I'll tell ya what. I am going into some bad withdrawl here. I moved from Central Florida where I fished more than I slept sometimes, now I haven't even looked at a rod and reel for almost a year.

When we get a chance we drive over to lake Waco or TP&L just to get a shorline fix.

And I won't start the whine about how I miss the gulf.

Ya know Steve, a MH rod and 20 lb test braid and a good drag will bring in some of the "eatin sized" ones.
