I have a Lowrance 520c installed in the dash, but I think it may have been connected wrong. It flashes 32 degrees for water temperature, the temp sensor is installed at the transom. The sensor is the EP35. There is a NMEA t connector (a double, actually) under the console, with the LGC-3000 antenna being plugged into one of the tee connections, and the other t connection goes to the display unit. The t connector is marked on each end as "bus" and the two T connections are marked as "device". The temp sensor is plugged into the female "bus" end. It just flashes 32 degrees for the temp. But, I open the menu, go into NMEA configuration, then bus setup, then EP35 for device, then 'water' for temp type, and it changes the water temp reading to read correctly on the pages with custom gauges, but still reads a flashing 32 degrees on the full page screens.

Do I need another t connector to get the flashing 32 to go away, or am I configuring something wrong? Anybody know?

Nevermind. I found a way to reconfigure and show the correct temp and lose the flashing 32 degrees. I still don't think it's the proper way, but as long as I have it reading the temp I'm happy. I use that more than depth this time of year.
