Ok. We now have 13 members. We have had more non-boaters join than boaters. This creates a problem. We are asking all members to not discourage non-boaters from wanting to join, but to let them know we are in need of boaters. Without more boaters, not everyone will get to fish every month. This will put people out of the running in the points race. We are also putting an end to the 3 to a boat scenario. This is a safety hazard as well as it is very difficult to fish this way. If you know someone with a boat that is looking for a club, please have them come fish with us and check us out. Prospective members can fish twice before being asked to commit to the club and join. Next years dues will be $70. We will split this up with the first $35 being due in January and the remainder being due in June. Looking forward to fishing with the new guys in the coming year.

Keep your non boaters at an even par. What I would do is put non boaters on a waiting list in the order they sign up. If you have six boaters than you should only have 6 nonboaters. When another boater joins call the next person on the nonboater list and tell him you have an opening. If he is still interested in joining then sign him up, if not go to the next one on the list. This will make things alot easier on your club.

Thanks for that tip Rattle. Our club has been together since 2003. Or should I say has been strugling since 2003. We are making alot of changes for 2008 that will hopefully remedy this issue.

~c~ like that idea for putting nonboaters on a waiting list. if i was having to wait it would be worth it because do thing for god and fellowship is fun to be involved with that.We are working on getting more boaters so if u have a boat just want to fish for fun and do thing for the youth  groups  and the things going on for the church come  join the fun.It will be even better than this year.We are taking the old wine skin and turning it in to new wine skin so be looking for new things happening for 2008
