Brand new second hand

Just purchased a second hand 2001 Ranger (excellent condition) with a indash front mounted Garmin 240, I'm trying to find out if they have an upgrade that will fit in the same slot on the bow? Still learning the boat and can't get it to turn on, checked fuses, beat it with a hammer a couple of times and begged it and still doesn't work. I also have a Lowrance X96 on the bow which the only books I have on this boat is from what I printed off the internet. I know someone out there has the same style and equipment out there that is willing to help me out.

Get a bigger/heavier hammer,it will turn on next time
