Heres a tip for ya.

I got to go fishing this morning on lake Greenwood with a client of ours in his new 07 triton. I forgot my worm binder With my wiggle rigs and all my fav worms at home but remembered 3 of my rods. I didnt realise this untill I got there. So I run to wally world and pick up a few packs of Tiki Sticks and some 3/0 Gammys. We were catching a few bass an hour and I was kicking my self in the  for not remembering my wiggle rigs. Well I has caught 4 or 5 bass on 1 tiki stick and it was getting worn out. I decided it was good for one more cast. Remember this tiki stick is rigged texas with no weight.

I spot this laydown right on a point and turn off 2 brakes in my reel and cast hard to reach it. I see my tiki stick flying over the bank and hear my spool going crazy. I imeadetly slam my thumb on the spool but its too late. I spent the next 35-40 min picking out the worst backlash I have ever seen.

So my tip for today is to replace that worm if it starts getting worn out. If you dont you might end up mising a few good fish because you have to pick out the backlash from hell.
