Like many of you, I have had a problem with frogs such as Ribbits, Tiki Toads, etc spinning. I noticed that it seemed to happen most when the frogs/toads legs got crossed as in the left Tiki Toad in the picture below. Found that if I took a toothpick and stuck it straight across through the legs, right Tiki Toad, they wouldn't cross and I had much less spin and seemed better flapping of the legs.

Played around with different things, and found that the center copper wire from some coax would go through easier and was just easier to use. Give it a try, stopped the spin for me.

I have fished with Horny Toads and Ribbits ever since they came out and never had them spin unless the hook was not in the frog straight.  Yum frogs with the feet pointing out don't seem to run consistant no matter that you do with them, I noticed in your pic the feet on your frog point out as well.  Might be simular to the Yum frogs?

I learned i had to rig frog baits differently than, say, plastic worms to make them perform right.

When i rig them, i insert the hook just under the nose of the bait. On Zoom's Horny Toad, there's a small circle of rubber left on the nose from the mold. I insert the hook to start my Texas rig just below this mold leftover. This makes the bait ride with a bit of a "nose up" attitude and it keeps it from spinning.
