$1.50 Lure Retriever

I have been using this for several years and have saved HUNDREDS in lost crankbaits. Get yourself some 4oz pyramid weights (salt water bottom rig) and some sinker sliders. Attach the weight to the slider and keep one in your pocket. When you get snagged, clip the weight on your line and let it slide down to the lure. Gently shake the rod. The weight of the retriever will work the lure loose 90% of the time.

Sounds like a cheap and easy fix to fixing hangups. Wish I had thought of something like this about 2 months. ago.  ;)
