Brad here I just wanted to let everyone know I am buying my first boat. Nothing special but it's a boat right, it's a 1985 17ft Procraft fish and ski. I know fish and ski, but its a boat it has a 90hp Merc. needs a little cleanin up and little things. If anyone has a trolling motor thats atleast 50lbs thurst and wants to sell it let me know and the hull needs a good cleaning so if anyone has any pointers on how to bring back a little shine that would be great any other helpful hints would be great too. I am gonna stay a non-boater for awhile just because I think I'll learn more from the experience and plus I want to get use to the boat so I am still looking for Kentucky and Table Rock (maybe).
                See ya on the water

Congratulations Brad it won't be long before you go boater. Best to learn about some of the lakes before you do, Especially Kentucky Lake.

HI Brad,

If you want a new one I can get Minn Kota's wholesale. Do you need a 12 or 24 volt?

Not possitive but I am pretty sure it's 12v I'll give you a call some time when I know for sure or I'll see you sometime I am sure.

Congratulations, Brad!!  ~c~  How long have you dreamed of this moment? For me, my dream of owning a boat took me 31 years, 4 years ago. I'm 42.

You will be a much better boater by staying as a non-boater until you are comfortable with your boat. I started out totally green as a boater. Always fished, never boated. I had to become a better boater so I could catch more fish. I could write chapters about not-so-fun boating incidents.

Hope to see ya at Kentucky and The Rock.
