The bass fishing has been ok but I haven't targeted them yet.  With in the next ew days i plan on going to a few ponds i know to target just bass and hopefully get some.  So far I've done all pickerel and trout fishing.  The pickerel i've been catching in a local pond caught 3 on monday and lost a nice one as well it was deffintely the biggest of the day.  On Tuesday it was the best day so far i caught a total of 9 pickerel 2 big ones and the other 7 weren't much but the put up a little fight on my small spin casting rod.  All of the pickerel i took on a daredevil that was about an inch.  Also a few brookies in a river thats close by.  I hadn't caught many but they just stocked it 4 days ago and in the past 2 days i talked to a few friends who said the bite was very hot there.  So tomorrow i plan on heading down and fly fishing for them.  Hopefully the next posti  have the fishing will have gotten even better to report on.
