Hi,

I have a line up of windows on the south side of my home.  Every spring I get robins and cardinals that constantly hit the windows, trying to scare away the competition for their mating rights. Evidently the southern exposure and reflection cause them to see themselves and they constantly bang against the glass (Dumb birds).  last year I took some of that glass paint that is used when a team wants to rally and paints autoglass, but that stuff is a bear to clean off after a  couple of weeks.  Anyone have any other ideas that will keep the birds from beating themselves up????

Thanks for the help.

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Try cutting yourself a couple of strips of aluminum foil (about 1" wide and 6" long) and hang them from strings in front of your windows while the birds are in the area.  The dangling foil should keep them away.  I think I heard this somewhere else a long time ago.
The early bird may get the worm, but it is the second mouse that gets the cheese.
