i have a pfueger trion reel that im goin to use for tubes and plastics, for pitchen and things like that im got 2 rodes but cant decide witch one to use for it both are all stars but one is med, the otheris med hvy what u guys thinkt

I would deffinately use the MH rod. Simply for the hook set and response to bites. If you are pitching and flipping you'll want the hoist out of the cover.

adam I concur with Eric, if you plans are to use it as a pitching/flipping rod a MH or H rod is the way to go.

thanks guys everyone hear is veryhelpfull and is helping me get on my way

adam,  you could use both rods depending on what lures you use that day

you might want to use that medium rod for senkos or other light lures.  Other uses for the med could be topwater or even crankbaits.  Over time you will develop a preference for certain rod lengths and actions.  Like was said above, you will use the MH for most of your fishing situations.  The allstar rods are good quality stuff.  keep picking the brains of the guys on this forum, It is just plain no nonsense practical fishing advice, and IMHO is the best fishing site there is. go ultimate bass.com

+1 on the MH.

I believe you have made good choices in both the reel and rods.  You should try using both rods for this application to see which will work best for you.

Adam, you did not say what your rod lengths were.  that will probaly get you more specific advice from our members.
