Fished the lower Twin on 10/01/2006, between the channel and the lower. Caught quite a few nice bass on poppers along the shorline and points.

I am still trying to figure out the patterns to our lakes since we have no shad for the bass to follow up creeks like down south. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Keep Fishin, no that cold yet. Water temp on surface was 60.

Thanks for the update  ~c~ Did the topwater bite stop after the sun got up? This time of year here in the south we can usually keep a top water bite all day especially if there is some cloud cover :-*

I tried fishing around some downed trees around the banks with several different types of lures and then just tried trolling about 20-30 feet down more toward the center of the lake, which is only about about 40-60 feet deep.  We didn't get anything.  Does anybody know what is working up here?
