CB's Hawg Sauce is what i always use. It also doesnt wash off and really works. I credit it for winning me a few tournaments.

Cb's Hawg Sauce works real well. His new gel has the staying power of mega-strike and has not only won me tournaments, it's nailed lunker and caught fish when others couldn't catch a thing. It even worked 2 weeks ago when the bite slowed down fishing for sea bass in blue water.  ~c~

I would have to say the Megastrike. Good point about keepin it in the shade, it's not messy until you go to squeeze out some after it's been sittin out in the sun for awhile. I lost a fishin partner cause of that, I apologized for squirtin the crap out of his good tournament shirt but I guess me laughing so hard just got the best of him. It was an accident though I swear to god it was.

I've never tried scents and after reading all the positive feedbacks for Megastrike...I'm thinking giving it a try.  Now...do you mainly use it on plastics or does hard baits work as well?

Personally I do not through out a plastic bait with out Megastrike on it, now hard baits I do if I'm going to move them slow. If your like me I let baits set on the floor of my boat at times and think they might pick up the smell so it s nice to know the bait is as nature smelling as possible.

i don't really use it on hard baits. I'm usually moving them to fast for mega strike but i will rub it on the skirts of jigs and spinnerbaits and anything that has a shirt on it.

megastrike all the way! I too am a smoker and i believe it hides the cig smoke a little bit.

Andrew, I use the Hawg sauce, It definately works for me. But you statement about the hard baits confuses me. I use my scents on all my baits for the following reason. It leaves a scent rail in the water. Almost every pro you talk to recommends repeatedly casting to a area from numerous directions. A scent trail will keep the bass in that area and give them a trail to follow to your bait. Taste is not the only reason for applying a scent. Just my opinion.

I have tried both and CB's Hawg Sauce far outperforms the megastrike - it is not even close.  Mega strike might cover up the human scent, the Hawg Sauce actually draws the fish to strike.

Never leave home without my CB Hawg Sauce EVER!

MegaStrike is made of enzymes and not just loaded and soaked in garlic or flavorings like other brands of scents. i wouldn't compare megastrike to any "sauce" since its nothing like other scents/flavorings. The enzymes stimulates the fish more than just a flavoring would.
