Anyone with tips for CDA Lake?  I've heard good things about the kokanee over in Wolf Lodge Bay.  What about bass in that area?

Howdy,
Bass fishing in CDA is pretty much split-up into two fisheries.
The north end of the lake is primarily smallmouth and the south end is
primarily largemouth. Any area that has a north shoreline is good for smallies.
The chain lakes and the south end are excellent for bucketmouths,
just look for weedy areas of any other bassy looking areas and you'll be in good shape.

You might try in at Black Sheep in Coeur D'Alene. They are pretty good at telling you what they have heard. I went to the weigh in at Harrison on 14 April. Several Bass in the three to four pound class and at I believe 7.79 weight. I know it was well over seven pounds. Several of the Pro's there would help a guy out if you asked. They have helped me a lot I know. Now of course the ones that I talk to know that I am almost 100% catch and release. Still looking for one over eight pounds. That one if I ever get it will go on the wall  ~shade
