My wife and I purchased a new bed over the past weekend and it was delivered today.  It's a tempurpedic, and it is absolutley wonderful.  Its like laying on a marshmellow.  I just hope my back stops hurting now.

So much did it set you back and let us know how it goes after a few nights!

I got a sweet deal on it.  I got it at Bob's Discount furniture for $999.

Hey Adam, i have one also, and you are gonna love it.  You got a much better deal than i did.  MINE WAS $2500 but it is worth every single cent.   Your back will quit hurting also, i promise.  I work in the oil and gas industry and always thought it was hurting because of picking up iron all day, but when i got rid of the spring mattress, my pain went away.  You both will love it !!  Good Choice of beds.

Mary , I do too. Its the only way I can wake up without a killer backache. I have tried sleeping in every bed in the house and cant even work the next day because of the back pain. I wish there was a bed made as soft as the couch.

We have one of those beds too, due to my wife's back and surgery etc.  You will sleep very well but it's tough to crawl out in the morning.  Is it possible to have too comfortable of a bed?  Yes.

Adam

Okay, I found it to be more comfortable sitting up in it propped up with a bunch of pillows than actually sleeping in it.  My wife told me she was having the same problem untill she took all her pillows off the bed.  So maybe I just have too many pillows...  I'll find out when we get back from Seattle.  It is very comfrotable sitting in it proped up watching a good movie though!

I ran into the same thing and agree that one pillow fixed the situation.  I'll warn you though, sleeping in the same position and not tossing and turning can give you a stiff neck/shoulder at first.  I have to say that I have been sleeping more soundly and seldome have the stiffness after having the bed for some time.
