Took The New Boat Out

Well hadn't had a chance with cool and lousy weather conditions to try the X-mas gift from the wife again.  With the weather being a littel cloudy but in the low 50's figured what the heck.  Got to love the DFI motors was great that the Mercury fired right up.  Well got to do a lot of playing and driving.  Did manage to get 73MPH out of the boat and had to back off do to the pond being so small and the boat starting to chine.  Got to love the color Lowrance 25.  Amazing the detail in color and how big the screen is.  Did fish for about an hour as well.  No fish but felt good to be in the boat at the beginning of January.  Water temp was 35.

Yes was a good trip. Fish no fish just good to be in the boat his time of year.  Just wish I didn'thave to go to work and could ahve stayed all day.
