If you ever have to work around electricity (a hot circuit) always keep your left hand in your pocket and use your right hand only.  Cardiac arrest is the largest killer in electrocution.

If you get shocked with your right hand, the current goes down your leg on the right side - away from your heart.

If you get shocked with your left hand only, it runs down your leftside to your foot - travels through your heart.

If you get shocked with both hands current goes from hand to hand - travels through your heart.

The chances of you surviving increase dramatically if you keep your left hand in your pocket.
The early bird may get the worm, but it is the second mouse that gets the cheese.

I remember that from USAF Tech School. Excellent tip!
