I found this trick awhile back and it works Great !!!  ....

to change the action of a Plastic worm you can add some weight to the worm ...
to accompolish this all you do is take an old coat hanger and cut it into sectional
pieces ... once completed cutting you inset a piece inside the worm .... this will cause the action of the worm to change some and when it hits objects in the water it will also cause a " click " to be heard by the fish ....

this is another way to change the action of a plastic :

to give your Plastic Worm movement all you need to do is to take a Utility knife ... or a Jack Knife ... and hold it about 2 inches from the end of the tail ....

Cut throu the worm back towards the tail ... roll the worm 1/4 turn and cut again towards the tail .... the cuts made will give the worm appendeges .... sort of like a squidy or octopus .... these appendeges will move about in the water on retrieval of the lure .... this movement might be all you need to land the next big one ....

Excellent ideas for the ever growing pressure the bass are receiving. That little something different is all it takes sometimes. Keep the ideas coming  ~c~
