Lake Hefner Fishing Report 10/13/06

Went to Lake Hefner today for the first time.Skies were blue with no clouds in sight and outside temp was about 70 degrees.Water temp was 66,and the lake is about six feet below normal.I caught one largemouth on a small jig,a few white bass on spinners,some bluegill on crappie jigs and even two catfish on worm harnesses trying to catch my first walleyes.Although most the fish weren't big it was a fun day of fishing new water.
