Went to Cross today with Railroader.  Not a good day.  Only caught 1 fish, a dink, and missed a few others.  Everything was on senko's.  Water temps ranged from 72 to 74.  Not sure if it was the blue bird skies after the front or what...but time for a new game plan.

Me and a friend went out today, and caught several.

I hooked a nice fish around 7:00am that was every bit of 4 or 5 lbs, and maybe even a touch more.  Got it right up to the boat before she spit my worm.  There were three trees in a small group, and we went back to them three times, hooking fish every time.  Caught several there, but another one let me get him just to the side of the boat before getting off, but I think I can say that I have a new favorite set of trees.   ;)

Caught 8 or 9, not counting the misses, and saw several more roaming in shallow flats, but they were spooky.  I caught one on a chartreuse/white spinnerbait, but all the rest came on a junebug worm.  Bites were sporadic, but got bit all day.
