Alternative to the pig

Is there an alternative to the pig on a jig, anything else you like to use in the plastics? I actually just learned of the Jig and a Pig concept and was wondering if there is an alternative to the "pork"?

You can use any plastics instead of pork for a pig and jig. I like to use creature baits.

Yamamoto 5" Double Tail Grub or the Net Bait Paca trailer are my two choices.

Yup, creature baits work real well, anything with multiple appendages.

Yum crawbug is an excellent replacement for the "pig" and plus you dont have to worry about taking it off your jigs.
