Caddo Bass Fishing Report...7/15/06

Went to Caddo Sat evening to fish for Blacks but every where I went up in Jeems I kept running into Whites and Hybrids schooling. Between 5:30 and 7:30 I must have caught at least 30 some really nice ones too, mostly Hybrids. I was not even actively chasing them but would throw a swimbait into them when they came up close
Only caught 3 blacks one on a 10 inch worm , one on a brush hog and one on a senko.

We saw your truck and trailer at the boat ramp Papa...wondered where you were fishing.

Went out there Sunday morning for about 2 hours. Caught one a little over 3 on a grass line next to deeper water on a popper. Then one about 3.5 on a worm in deeper trees. Right after that my trolling motor just flat quit in the grass, headed home then. Gotta love it when start out strong and they seem to be biting then you have to go home before 9.

Well we are going to fish your fish next time cause I cannot find a pattern. I did catch a good fish Sat off of an oil derrick but after 15 more Derricks and no fish I figured that may not be a real pattern.

The fish you caught off of the oil derick, was the oil derick running? How about the rest? That used to be a little summer time pattern i'd run.
