Good morning to all,

Overcast skies with temps 51-54dgrs here in Central Texas this morning.  The forecast for today is 53dgrs with 86%humidity with a SE wind @ 4mphs.  The warming trend starts tomorrow  ~c~

Couple small errands to tend to this morning.  Mailed Dwayne a package with some mail in it to his new home in Anchorage, Alaska.  Made a pit stop at Walmart on the way back from the post office.  Final stop was the gas station for my to go morning breakfast of a couple beef bean burritos and a diet Mtn Dew.  The rest of the day will be spent in the recliner snoozing and a watching some tv.  Been hooked on watching "Dexter" on Netflix.  A big change of pace from watching Perry Mason and Hogan's Hero's nightly.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm.  Our warming trend here in Central Texas arrives tomorrow and there a whole bunch of people are glad is finally getting here.  People here Texas don't really like that cold weather much.

Jim; Tks for stopping by my good man.  Yep Prices for everything has really gone through the roof especially anything Hobby related.  I was out driving around and seen a Bass Cat Jaguar BASS BOAT with a 500 HP Merc outboard on the back of it   ~shade    The guys was heading up towards the DFW/Ft. Worth area.  My first though was how much did that rig cost? The only place around here where you could open that thing up is those Big Water Lakes up around Dallas.  You could run it down in the South of Border Lakes also.

Alrighty, hope everyone is having a pleasant day and your plans for a relaxing evening are still looking good.  Be safe in your travels and be mindful of your surroundings.

Enjoying some warmer weather finally.  Today temp at 60 but still a bit of a N with a slight breeze and plenty of South Carolina sunshine.  Good to see the temps finally get back to normal at least for the next 10 days.  We are expecting temps into the 70s by Friday.

Yesterday was Dr. Appointment day for the wife so I spent the day driving miss daisy around Myrtle Beach.  Today was errand day with dropping off and then picking up the dig from the groomer.  Also dropped off some slacks for the wife at the seamstress and then off to Walmart to pick up a couple of prescriptions as a result of her Dr. visit yesterday. She has some further medical test that will be run as soon as the appointments can be confirmed.

I don't know if I mentioned this before but my insurance for Part D  (prescriptions) really went up this year with a 44% increase.  Whats up with that?  As always it looks like my biggest annual expense will continue to be in the insurance categories. I also just got a notice from Verizion that my cell bill will be going up.  I guess I am gonna have to give some thought about making some changes in my insurance providers and cell bills.  I hate making these kind of changes but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Good morning to all,

The warming front has arrived here in Central Texas  ~c~   Woke up this morning to heavy rain with some wind.  Forecasts for today is 48-70dgrs with mostly cloudy skies.  We got a NW wind @ 8mphs with 89%humidity.  It's suppose to be raining on and off the rest of the day here  ~rain   We're all just glad the warmer weather has arrived.

Nothing exciting happening around here today.  I got some things to get done on the computer for a bit and then it's off to the recliner.

Bud; Tks for stopping by and sharing the day with us.  I hope your wife's test results come back with good news for her.  Yep everything is going up especially vehicle insurance; health insurance and those Cell Phone bills.  My wife takes care of getting the bills paid here.  Sometimes she tells me when things go and sometimes she doesn't.  She's been taking care of all that for the past 49yrs.  Good luck figuring out what to do about that Cell Service.

To everyone I hope your morning is going well for yawl.  Be safe in your travels if you have to be out and about.  At the end of the day hopefully there's a relaxing evening waiting for yawl.
