My friends all collectively suggested this rod when I asked for a weightless SENKO rod.

It feels awesome with my Tatula reel.

So now I own a Powell. Haha. I'll slime it tomorrow.

I've fished Powell quite a bit. Is that the Naked series 6ft 10 ? I like that model.

Is it the Naked series? I've had a couple different Powells 702 over the years in other models and really liked them for drop shots and Ned rigs. It might be a tad light for a 5" senko style worm.

It is the Naked. A 5" is about perfect. Rod is so stiff it handles it. I don't get the best distances tho.

okay. I fished this rod this weekend. Vanford 2500 with a neutral density braid.

it throws and works a small popper perfectly. I was walking a tiny popper and getting slammed by dinks. haha.

even the grip is getting familiar. the needle is moving.
