Conditions:
Temps: Hot!
Water temp: Hot!
Wind: None!
Current: slight to the East
Skies: Clear, partly cloudy
Fishing time: 6am-11am
Bass boated 27
Top 5: 15lbs

Decided to fish out of the basshunter today and fished the Marshlands. Arrived a little before 6am.

I was hearing bass feeding as I was getting the boat ready. As soon as I launched, I picked up my frog rod and landed a bass on my 1st cast! Missed one on my 2nd cast and jumped and missed a 5lbr on my 3rd cast.

Needless to say, the frog bite was on! From dawn up until around 745, the bite was on fire. But as soon the sun cleared the tree line. They began to shut down. :(

I managed to pick off a few more bass here and there, but as the outing wore on, the bites were less and less.

By around 11am, the bite was nonexistent despite seeing the bass! The heat and humidity were nuts, so I called it.

All in all, it was very fun early in the morning. The bite window was short and fierce!

The conditions are tough right now, but if you time things right, the bass are around!

Thanks for reading!

Good job. I know there's another name for that area but can't remember it but I know I've fished it over the years.
