Quote from: Pat Dilling on July 06, 2024, 02:04:38 PMI wish they would quit rating Clear Lake so high. Fishing has been very tough for at least 3 years. They are looking at the top of tournament results and seeing big weights. But the bottom 2/3rds of the fields are lucky to weigh-in 3 fish. We are not bothering to go over there these days.

ditto for the CA-Delta.

I havent fished Clearlake since Spring.  I may try next weekend, but I am not holding my breath. it has been tough for me.

I am really surprised that neither Shasta nor Oroville were included on the Western list.  But that's Okay, we'll keep them a secret.  :)

In the Northeast take Presque Isle Bay off the list. The Amish have been fishing it hard and it is getting hard to even catch a limit let alone any good size fish. The last two years have been terrible, it may be time to move my camp.

Hate to hear that. Where might you move your camp too?

Mike,
The wife loves the area around lake Erie, so I may be stuck there. There is a couple of smaller lakes close by that have good bass fishing. I caught 8 on a frog a couple weeks ago on Edinboro lake, along with a few senko fish.
