I've never bought or tried any of the Googan Baits. I don't get what the appeal is? Are they any good?

Most are well designed and they have a strong scent in them. Do they work better than others? I don't see it. Are others better? I don't see that either.

They are one of the better designs and great color combo's

I've used them and there's one bait of theirs that I still use, The Bandito Bug in Green Pumpkin/Purple. My only complaint is they put the soft, in soft plastics. One good decent fish and the bait is trashed. But it does work well for me on my local S FL lake.

Now for devils advocate: Are they terrible?, No. Are they the most awesome baits out there?, Nope. But they were mainly made & marketed to bring younger anglers interest & into the fishing game, which they did well. I mean Scott Martin used the bait I mentioned to win on Lake Okeechobee, so can't be that horrible.

Tiller Mafia. They were designed to emulate Yamamoto's plastic quality. You go through a lot of stick baits and the same with the rest of their plastics.I don't feel badly about buying some of them on the clearance sales. My grand kids love the Googans and paid attention to all of the info on how to fish with them. And what they buy they have saved their own money.mowing grass or something along those lines .
