Conditions:
Water temps: 77-82
Water clarity: slight stain
Current: None
Wind: South: 5-10
Skies: Sunny to partly cloudy
Outside temps: Hot and humid!!
Bass and Peacocks boated: 36
Fishing Time: 7 to 3pm

Yesterday was Day 2 of guiding my friends from Germany, Andy, and Alex. They wanted to try their hand at Peacocks again, so I treated them to an off the grid peacock experience. Few who have fished with me know about this special location, and since I know these 2 gentlemen can fish, they were game for the adventure!

We launched close to 730 and made a short 10 min run. They started with top waters, but the peacock were just not having it.

Alex made the switch to a jerkbait and hooked into a beautiful 3lb peacock!

I thought the bite was going to turn on, but unfortunately, it did not throughout the morning.

The bite started to heat up in the afternoon. Topwater strikes became more consistent.

Again, we never got into a fish catching frenzy, unfortunately, but these guys just fished harder.

By the time 3pm rolled around, they were both exhausted!! But! They caught a bunch of pea's and bass. Not crazy amount, but solid catches nonetheless.

Unfortunately, I will not see these guys for another 3 to 5 years, but I'm looking forward to fishing with them again when they return to visit South Florida.

Thanks for reading!
