Feeding Alligators: PSA

Just don't do it!! The picture below is a still, of video I shot today. (You can see the full video on my Instagram.)
The Alligator depicted in the picture has been fed before. You can tell because fed Alligators approach your boat, really close, wanting you throw a fish at them.

I have seen videos of this happening as well as witness boats feeding an Alligator. I know it looks cool, but now that Alligator associates boat, for food. Alligators are not stupid!

People who feed alligators are putting the Alligator at risk as well as other people.

So please! Don't feed alligators!

At the rest areas along the Alley I have seen some people feeding gators bread.  I told them that is against the law and puts people in danger by associating people with a food source.  They looked at me like I was crazy.  It is sometimes hard to fix stupid! :o  :o

Lou this is the start of the breeding season too!

People can't help themselves.
The majority of them don't really consider the consequences of their actions because once they leave it doesn't affect them.
