Conditions:
Wind: None!!
Skies: Clear!
Temps: Hot and Humid!
Water temps: 77-82
Water clarity: slight stain
Current: Slight
Fishing time: 7am to 1pm
Bass boated: over 20

Today was a very special guide trip. A repeat client of mine named Shawn invited a young man named Logan. Logan just picked up bass fishing 2 weeks ago, and today was just his 2nd time fishing ever!!

I enjoy working with novices, so I gave Logan a 30-45 min tutorial on the proper workings of a spinning outfit.

Just about an hour into the trip, I introduced Logan with how to fish a stick bait.

In a very short time, Logan just started catching bass, after bass, after bass. It was an extremely rewarding experience to witness.

Logan's fishing confidence improved every passing hour.
He was fortunate to hook into and land a bass that was just shy of 3lbs!!

Overall, despite the tough conditions, Logan and Shawn did great. They caught a lot of bass, and it was all smiles and laughs all around.

Thank you for reading!
