Conditions:
Water temps: 75-84
Water clarity: Stained
Wind: NW 10-12 then East at 10
Current: Yes
Skies: Blue bird all day!
Bass boated: 32
Top 5: Over 17bs
Fishing Time: 7am-3:15pm

With these conditions changing, I took another scouting trip just to make sure I had the bass dialed in.

Arrived at dawn, launched and was fishing by 7am. The bass were fired up!! Caught several on top water right away. Including this pretty 4lbr

As the day wore on, the bite slowed down. But when they did bite, the majority were nice.

Had lunch around 11:30, and the bite shut down. Tried the bottom for a while, but believe it or not, all my luck was up top despite the blue bird skies.

Bites were happening once every 45 min or so. The frustrating part was that I missed 5 good ones during this time.

Towards the end of the outing, I landed a kicker bass to put me over 17lbs.

All in all, fun outing. I have these bass pretty dialed in for my upcoming guide trips.

Thanks for reading!

You really put in the work for your clients. Sounds like a great day. Wish that I was there!

I wish you were there too, it was fun! I want my clients to have a successful day on the water. If it requires a little extra work, so be it. That just means I get to fish more.  lo  It's a win, win.  lo
