Had the pleasure of wrapping up March, fishing with my son. Him and I haven't fished together for a spell, so I was pretty giddy when I asked him yesterday if he wanted to fish with me today, and he said yes!!

We arrived at the ramp right at sunrise. The wind was blowing, and the skies were clear.

My son started getting hits almost right away. I managed to land the first bass of the outing on my second cast.

We made a little move, and short while later, my son landed a nice 3lb bass.

Conditions were making the fishing challenging, but we kept at it. We landed bass here and there.

As the day progressed. A little bit of clouds moved in, and the bite picked up. My son had the bass pretty dialed in at this point, and every so often,
a bass would erupt on his topwater lure.

We were reaching the end of our outing when I glanced at the counter, and we were holding at 39 bass. My son said we weren't leaving until we caught 40.

Fortunately, it did not take too long to land #40. The bass exploded on my top water bait as I was watching my son fish. Lol!

Despite the blue bird skies and the wind, my son and I managed to put together a productive pattern. I'm looking forward to fishing with my son again soon.

Thanks for reading!

What a great day you both had. Looks like fun. I'm jealous, both my sons live out of state.

Thanks, guys! @JHAB, he actually out fished me now that I think about it. I may have caught the numbers, but he caught the better quality of bass. I loved it!! ;)
