I'm wading occasionally. A big fish? I'll jump in knee deep to grab it.  I'm scrambling on boulders. I'm walking on mossy rocks, submerged and ones above water line.  I'm running on shale.  Zero issues. I wear them without socks.  But I'm planning on buying wading socks soon, especially for colder waters.  They drain fast and dry over night.  I am digging them.

Here in Oklahoma they are perfect.  Wet waging for my local river smallies shouldn't be a problem.

Ive been hearing great things about Simms shoes. I wonder if they make a low top? You could hit the basketball court in those suckers!  ~roflmao

I have been wearing them on my kayak.  I love just walking knee deep into water during the warm months.  I don't do barefoot like  my friends.  people drop fishhooks at the ramps.
