Are you fishing around pads and grass or inside of pads and grass? Big difference. If you're pitching inside of pockets of grass and pads , then your setup is fine.
But if you're fishing on the edges of pads and grass. Then imho the 50lb braid is overkill. 20lb braid will be better.
The 734 is a good rod for this application.
