How is the Fenwick redesign after ICAST 2023?

Im thinking about getting an HMG or Eagle, what are your thoughts on the redesign?

Paul, I was able to participate in their roll out of all the new Fenwick rods. Let me tell you, I was impressed. They started from scratch and redesigned each rod series. I was so impressed, I got 2! A Fenwick World Class and a Fenwick Eagle. For $99, I don't think that you could beat the Eagle. It's light, comfortable and very sensitive..The handle design was a little different but I got used to it quickly and really like it now.

I was also able to test the new HMG lineup as well. The HMG will be my next rod. They were very light sensitive and comfortable. I caught my personal best smallmouth on the HMG and it handled the fish beautifully.

My guys haven't gotten the Eagle or HMG'S yet. I do have a world class on the way. I'm happy to see Pure fishing do something with the Fenwick name.
They hired Justin Poe and Dave Brinkerhoff from Loomis/Shimano and If you look down the line up you will see the Loomis models copied.  The 7ft1 MH and H = 853 and 854, The 7ft 3 MH = 873 and so on.
I would think the Eagle HMG's will be the biggest sellers due to the price point.
