As a bank fishing fanatic I often get hitchhikers or sand spurs on my shoes socks or pants. Any advice for ways to prevent these annoying little things?

Nope, and they are a pita! I minimize hitchhikers by wearing Crocs when I bank fish. The only problem with that is that sometimes a hitchhiker goes through the holes and pokes a toe.
