Bassmaster Unfiltered

Check out the new series from Bassmaster called Unfiltered. It's the raw footage from a day of competition on the Elite Series with a pro. The first is Greg Hackney day 3 on Lake Seminole.

I've only watched the first 30 minutes or so but I have a few observations that I thought was very interesting.

The first is where Hackney was fishing a swim jig. It was much thicker cover than I would've used it. I probably would've picked another weedless baits instead.

Second observation is the action that he was giving the swim jig. It was constant twitches.

Third observation was when he spotted about a 5 pounder on the bed. The fish showed interest in the swim jig so Hackney stuck with it instead of other baits by pitching it over and over to the bed.

Finally, I was surprised how slow he moved the boat. He really hunkered down in an area and didn't move much at all.
