New Toy Arrived (SLX 150XG)

My new SLX 150 XG arrived for another toy I will have in hand over the next few weeks. But that's a whole other thread.

This will be my 3rd SLX, but what separates this reel from my other 2 SLX's is the ratio.

This will be my first 8.2:1ratio  Shimano reel I have ever owned. I'm looking forward to fishing with it.

For the price point, Shimano has done a good job introducing this particular line of reels.



Does anyone have this reel with the same speed ratio?

Congrats on getting that new toy... You got a new rod for that new reel?

Congrats on the reel. I've got three or four of the high speed reels and absolutely love them. I use them when I probably shouldn't at times but but pitching baits, frogging, or anything you need to get back in quickly after working the strike zone they are the cat's meow.

I totally agree the SLX is a home run in its price point.

I have the exact same one as of yesterday.  BPS had it for the same price.  Going to put it to the test today if the weather holds!
