Winyah Bass Boat

Check out this old classic that I found next to my daughter's gymnastics. A Winyah Bass 160. I bet that little thing flew back in the day with a 135. Anyone know anything about this make? I've never heard of Winyah Bass before.

A quick internet search reveals boat manufacturer is Scout Winya. I've never heard of them though.

Company building scout is now located near Summerville, SC.  Been around a long time here in low country.  Not sure but I do believe they had some affiliation at one time with Key West boats also built in the same general area out near Jedburg, SC   Mostly salt water boats currently
