I favor Shimano heavily.  But I had an itch. Besides my Tatula SV TW, this is my second Daiwa. Zillion SV 1000H. A JDM model.  I had enough Sunline Sniper 12lb, so I spooled up.  My first cast, I flung 3/8th across my street. I need to calibrate my thumb at the release, but I got some good distances.  Brake is at 50%.  I rigged up for Saturday!  Paired w a P5 X-Bites. This combo is light!  Ethereal!

Why would you buy such a piece of junk when Kast King has reels that can check your pulse rate and A1C level while you retrieve?

KastKinkabaire doesn't have the same ring as ZILLIONAIRE.  ~roflmao  ~roflmao

Nice! I'd have a whole locker full of those if I didn't have so many other expensive hobbies. lo

That's a great reel congrats

I almost had a Zillion once a couple years back. It was a JDM also, and didn't have the T-Wing which is exactly what I was looking for. I passed on it and have regretted that decision ever since.

Enjoy it bud!

there is a thread around here about a bait monkey -- we talked about some serious gear back then.  Plus, there is some extremely funny bantering going on also.

I had a really nice collection, and then someone lifted them out of the locked boat.  I still think it was someone i know but that is a whole other collection.

another you should pick up is a curado 50E, and a daiwa SV-103 -- which was the precursor to the SV-TW that you mentioned.

That SV-103 was a great reel. I think Daiwa made a huge mistake with the T-Wing, but what do I know?

you are not wrong.  I think it impacted the skippability of said reel, not so much with flouro but with braid definitely contributes to the ole' pro overrun -- from my experience

The SV103 and 105 are beyond fantastic and Daiwa made a huge mistake by not leaving that series well enough alone. They stepped on their Dick's Sporting Goods big time.

back to the Zillion.  it is hitting it's stride.  maybe I moved some grease around in the summer heat, but it is casting beautifully.

the bass are NOT a fan.

the SV is on a zillion frame, btw.  Also, the Fuego -- lots of bang for your buck especially if you put a different spool in it.

but yea, for sure the zillions are awesome.  Check out the HLC -- that one is money for crankbaits.
