Just watched this yesterday. Seems bass are like people in that some are homebodies and some like to roam the streets.
Retired and loving every minute of it!

Thanks for posting this, it was very interesting.  Is there not another tracking device that does not require surgery to install?  I'm sure someone could come up with different device.
I have always believed that any unusual structure on a big flat can be a gold mine.  Fish on that flat will often gravitate to that the structure no matter how small.  They can be magnets drawing bass in to the featureless surroundings.

one of the things that we were taught in Fisheries classes:  attaching devices to fish is really tricky.  they're really good at 'ejecting' them.  that surgical procedure has been studied and dtermined through years of trial and error as 'best'.

I have been thinking for more than a few years that big old bass are like big old bucks.  aware of their environments to a very high degree AND not necessarily following same behavioral patterns as smaller, younger bass.  I give them credit for being a lot smarter too.
livescope gives us ability to see their behavior in a different fashion.  but we still don't get to pre-scout them like we do deer with 'trail=cam' technology.  and we don't 'draw them in' with food plots on top of that.

Saw these videos probably a year or so ago. Definitely interesting and worth a watch. Even if you don't fish Toledo Bend, I'm sure it's applicable to other fisheries as well to a large extent.
