I just opened a package of new lures that I sent for this past week and was thinking of all those lures we buy during the off season planning to use when we get on the water again. Most never see the water if they get lucky enough to get put on the boat when we load  up for the summer. I would bet most average tackle boxes have a dozen lures in them right now that are not ever used and even a few still in the package they came in. I know I got four boxes loaded with hard body lures in them that I use maybe ten lures out of them.

I try to be smart and not buy to many of them but if they look sweet and the price is right I get them and add them to my tackle box.  :surrender: As I did this week! ::)

So I thought it might be fun to compare what lures grabs others fishermen and share what grab me. So while I was out surfing the web I found a lure called Otterk Multi-Jointed Baby Waddler Topwater Duck lure. In the advertisement they did not real show the size of the lure but the action was sweet, and it says it has durable hard ABS body and ultra-realistic 3D finish. They offered a deal at four for $19.95 which is not bad for four lures these days.  Well after I opened the package they seamed a tad small at around three inches long but everything else was great as in finish design. They look to be a lure I might even throw this summer when they are biting topwater baits.  lo

In the 80's I got suckered into buying Helicopter lure pushed hard by Roland Marten on his infomercials.  I actually caught a six pound bass and a small one on the lure.  It was a pain in the butt to rig properly.  It came in a kit with about sixty parts, including quality swivels, hooks, plastic lures.  The set is in excellent shape with almost all components unused.  Bids will be open for 24 hours, don't miss the opportunity of a lifetime. lo lo lo

I bought....The Banjo Minnow. Never caught anything on them, except the Frogs they had. Those worked better than the minnows.
