let's talk about hair...

just watched a bit of randy blaukat... one of his comments had me rolling.  somethng about a guy with a short video getting 'trounced' for having too much hair growing out of his ears.


now, I've found that as I grow older, I do seem to get more hair growing out of my ears.  furthermore, the barbers USED to trim it 'out' but that now seems to have stopped.

but they're quick to ask if I want my eyebrows trimmed.  I politely decline, saying I'm chasing the Bresnev look.

who here gets their eyebrows trimmed?

My barber trims my eyebrows each hair cut.

I do...my barber automatically does it when she cuts my hair.  She also removes my ear hairs

As I get older I have to do it more often. Eileen had a thing about eyebrows especially bushy ones. She used to get all freaked out if I fluffed them backwards. She threatened to shave them all off completely a couple times when I did that.

let me just say this once:  what WOMEN want in terms of THEIR eyebrows is their business.

one time, my wife dressed my little son up in an easter 'outfit' that included white hose little black 'buckle' shoes.  we had the talk:  he's a BOY not some little girl's dress up doll.

maybe that's just one of the reasons I am now her 'ex'.

Mine does too. She used to ask and I'd always tell her that if she thought something needed trimmed, do it. Now it's automatic.

Hair is growing everywhere except where I need it, on my head.  I have to trim hair every two weeks or my nose and ears look like a corn field!
