Found a bass fishing tourney trail!!

So I'll be fishing with the California Bass Federation in Region 6(mostly san diego area) as a co-angler!! Really looking forward to being back on the water IN a BOAT fishing competitively again!! January 29th is when it starts!

El Capitan

Has anyone on here fished Region 6 before or is/are fishing it this year??

Never fished quite that far south but all of them are know for giants :-* Like the giant of the giants. Otay used to be in the papers all the time... Notice I said papers, that's how long ago I was active in the area :'(

I haven't tournament fished since I was in a bass club in the 80's, but I did fish a lot at Lower Otay, San V and El Cap this year, including hitting my PB at El Cap. Western Outdoor News was kind enough to print some of my pics and some of my fish reports this season, as I'm always happy to share whatever I learn on the water. I'm hoping next year will be as good, especially when Lake Hodges reopens, so let's compare notes when you start your season!
