First tourney this Sunday!!

My first tourney here in California is this Sunday on Lake Lower Otay in San Diego! I got my rods and reels ready yesterday and now to sort tackle/lures. I'm fishing as a coangler and am supposed to get their contact info to discuss some basics. It's an 1100 acre lake at full pond so I'm sure we'll be doing a variety of things.

Otay... what a lake to have your first one on. There are some true GIANTS in that one... Of course you have to follow your boater around but with all the water, remember a bass is a bass and bass love to follow rising water. A water fall inlet in California can be MONEY, just ask Pat Dilling

Some pics of the lake after driving around it some today. Big fire from Mexico blowing smoke all over...

Water is clear to me! And cold- some guys said 52° at the ramp. Those reeds look amazing but might be too early.
