I recently lost one of my favorite jerkbaits, and this Rapala RipStop caught my eye. Looks like a fish catcher to me. ;)

coldfront

interested to see how you do with it Lou.  I use the rapala shadow raps a lot.  most of the time, with my clearer water, the deep rap gets it.  but in spring when the girls push up, I go with the 'normal'.
tough to beat the ghost shiner color here on the TN river...

could see the ripstop being helpful in fishing river current... keeping it in the productive depth longer as I 'float'...

I have that exact one and it has a good action on it and is a fish catcher. I don't fish it as much as I should because I am still a fan of the old  Sinking Rebels. I think you will do well with this one.

Thank you Larry, I think so too!  ;)

I've got several rip stops in different colors. They work great on smallmouths. Don't have any experience with them on largemouth. Yet.
